OML operates the only gold mine in Ireland and produces a concentrate containing gold, silver and lead.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
</div><div></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The first quarter of 2009 (ending March 31st) saw production of an estimated 511 wet tonnes (481 dry tonnes) of concentrate. Metals content of the quarter’s shipments are expected to total approximately 1511 ounces of gold (47 kgs), 4786 ounces of silver (148.9 kgs) and 42.2 tonnes of lead.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Production for the first quarter of 2009, when compared with the first quarter of 2008, saw an increase of 37.4% in terms of (dry) concentrate output, a 48.3% increase in gold output, 119% increase in silver output and a 22.3% increase in lead output. When compared with the last quarter of 2008, gold output increased by 10%, silver output increased by 29.5% and lead output decreased by 15.8%.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Mill output for the first half of April was stopped by the breakdown of a ball mill gearbox. Although acquired new and specified for the task, the gearbox required to be completely rebuilt and there were delays in obtaining parts from continental Europe over the Easter holiday. Measures to obtain a spare of this critical single line component are underway. Production was increasing before the breakdown and this trend has continued after with 250 wet tonnes of concentrate being produced in the four week period operated since the breakdown.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The production figures and metal contents are provisional and subject to averaging or umpiring provisions under the concentrate off-take contract with Xstrata Corporation detailed in a press release dated 3rd October 2007.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Galantas announced in a Trading Update on 12th March 2009 that it was looking to enhance mining output by up-rating and adding equipment. With that intent, an additional, high capacity, Hitachi EX800H excavator and two, Volvo A40, articulated dump-trucks have been made available, on a commercial rental / purchase arrangement, by G&F Phelps Ltd, a company controlled by Roland Phelps, President & CEO of Galantas, and have been delivered to the Omagh site. This allows the stripping of overburden covering the Kerr Vein to commence following an overhaul of OML’s Volvo EC 460 excavator. A time frame of two months has been budgeted for the Kerr stripping operation. The Hitachi EX850 excavator previously reported (12th March 2009) remains on long term hire. With the exception of the related party, who stood aside from the decision, the Directors of the Company have consulted with the Nominated Adviser and consider the terms of the rental / purchase arrangement to be fair and reasonable in so far as shareholders are concerned.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Power line removal works by Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) have been completed. Over 100 extra trees have been planted to cover lines of sight opened up by safety coppicing work carried out by NIE. These are in addition to approximately 12,000 trees already planted within landscaping near land ownership boundaries.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In early May, the Company was grateful for the opportunity to meet with the Minister of the Environment for Northern Ireland (Mr. Sammy Wilson) and senior members of the planning service. The Minister was briefed on the work of the company to date and was advised that the Company will rely on new planning permissions and revisions to existing planning permissions in order to safeguard and develop operations and to utilise the prospecting work undertaken by the Geological Survey of Northern Ireland.<br />

This low-cost production leader is highly successful in speculative exploration in the U.S. and internationally.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span id="more-125"></span>Lease proceeds will be used for underground mining equipment such as haul trucks, earthmovers, bulldozers, rough-terrain forklifts, etc. <br />
</div><a name='more'></a>This type of underground mining equipment is challenging collateral for most underwriters as it is difficult to locate for inspection audits and is subject to aberrant mining events. The company’s chief financial officer praised Mazuma for overcoming these issues.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"></div><div style="text-align: justify;">“This was a complex transaction. In addition to the geographically transient nature of the collateral, we needed to work with multiple subsidiaries and within an industry that experienced rapid contractions in market capitalization,” said Matt Burrows, Mazuma’s executive vice president of sales. “But our rigorous underwriting practices reveal key data giving us the confidence to know whether an industry has experienced an enduring change or mere market cyclicality.”<br />

For the coming year, they are predicting that the total turnover will increase by 10% to €3.3 billion. Peter Jochums, Chairman of the VDMA German Mining Equipment Association, noted this at the annual press conference in Zeche Zollverein. The VDMA says: “Recently, some orders have been cancelled, especially by East European customers; however the manufacturers are not affected by massive drops like in other economic sectors.”<a name='more'></a></span><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">“Our order books are well-filled at least for the coming year”, underlined Jochums. However, he expects a “temporary decrease” for 2010 as a consequence of the financial crisis, but that is really unpredictable at the moment. Reliable data about how the crisis affects the mining equipment sector are not available, the VDMA says.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">For the 2008 final figures, the manufacturers expect a decrease of total turnover of 10% to €3 billion. In the past two years, the total turnover increased by 18%. It is for this reason that the decrease could be absorbed, Jochums explained. In Germany, uncertainty grows with regard to the impending phasing out of hard coal production in 2018. This concern is reflected in the figures also. Therefore, Jochums expects a loss in domestic sales of 17% to €390 million for this year. For 2009, a further decrease of 5% is estimated. However, Germany still remains the largest and a very important sales market.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The turnover abroad will be approximately €2.6 billion this year. This is an indicated decrease of 11% as compared to 2007. Due to high growth rates in past years, this situation could be “handled well” though, said Jochums; especially since the industry expects an increase in foreign sales of 11% to €2.92 billion despite the financial crisis in the coming year. The order books are well-filled.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Like last year, the biggest foreign sales market is again Russia in 2008. Final figures could show exports increased by €20 million to €280 million. For 2009, Jochums assumes a decrease of some 10% due to the financial crisis. This is partly because orders have been stretched or cancelled. In order to counteract this development, German manufacturers tried to use Hermes tools or Hermes financing via German banks.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">In China, the second most important market, German mining equipment manufacturers probably will increase their sales by only €1 million to €210 million for 2008. Due to the state subsidies many companies received, the Chinese developed into serious competitors on the global markets according to Jochums. Between 2005 and 2007, exports of Chinese mining equipment manufacturers more than doubled from €871 million to €1.8 billion. Exports to the USA quadrupled and to Russia even decupled. Despite this, Jochums expects the same turnover for the coming year.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">This year, exports to the USA will probably have declined from €252 million to about €200 million. Uncertainties due to the financial crisis, declining commodity prices and related smaller investments of large mining companies are the reasons put forward by Jochums. Due to the almost “good mood” the US American and Canadian operating companies are in, the turnover of 2008 is assumed to be maintained for 2009. Jochums anticipates potential future markets in India, Indonesia and the Philippines.<br />

Timken's new spherical roller bearing cartridge has improved service life, saving mine operators thousands of dollars.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"Because of Timken's reputation for developing solutions to enhance its customers' performance,<br />
</div><a name='more'></a> L&H Industrial turned to Timken when it encountered ongoing repair problems. Timken's knowledge of friction management not only helped L&H Industrial, but also the end users who are L&H's customers," said Trip Kern, Timken's mining market manager.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">L&H Industrial's customers had problems with the reliability of the electric shovels they bought from original equipment manufacturers. These shovels, which are used to scoop 80-plus tons of earth and coal into haulage trucks in a single bite, could break down unexpectedly, resulting in lost productivity and repair costs that could exceed $5,000 an hour. When typical repairs last upward of 10 hours per incident, the financial implications could be significant.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">L&H analyzed the equipment repairs and identified the shovel's swingshaft as the root problem. At the lower end of the swingshaft, the main rotating pinion was mounted in an "overhung" position, which subjected the swingshaft to severe bending loads at the last bearing. These shafts tended to crack after 4,000 to 6,000 hours - or about every eight to 12 months - often causing an unexpected stop for maintenance.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">L&H turned to Timken for a solution. Timken developed a new spherical roller bearing cartridge featuring an enlarged inside diameter and changes in its metallurgical properties. The new bearing has nearly double the life of the previous design and fits into the original housing.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"The shovels are still running, going on two years," said Troy Allee, L&H engineering manager. "We are grateful to Timken because they helped find a solution for our customer. Few companies offer service and deliver value like that."<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Timken Company realizes that service life is a critical component of a mine site's profitability.<br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">"Our ability to develop innovative integrated assemblies like this lower swingshaft bearing and to follow up with the necessary technical support demonstrates Timken's commitment to serving the mining industry," Kern said.<br />

<div align="justify">Mining Trucks | 205 Short Ton (186 metric ton) Payload Capacity<br />
</div><div align="justify">Durable Construction<br />
<br />
A rugged, durably constructed frame is the key element to a long haul truck life. The MT 3700AC features a straight rail design to eliminate sources of stress concentration such as bends and breaks. <br />
<a name='more'></a>It boasts a double box section construction utilizing high-strength, low alloy, controlled rolled steel. This material simplifies welding procedures and reduces hydrogen embitterment during welding. A submerged arc welding process further reduces stress with full-penetration weld joints. This process translates into a 36% increase in the endurance limit, which translates into a 400% increase in the fatigue life of the weld joint. The critical areas of the frame feature deep section main rails to reduce stress by 50%, which can increase the fatigue life of the frame by 800%. The tubular center cross beam with integral hoist cylinder and axle box attachment eliminates torsional and eccentric loads associated with conventional designs. The axle box attachment features a replaceable bearing surface that is lubricated, sealed and integrated into the cross member for easy access and maintenance. The MT 3700AC axle box features a new stress skin design that eliminates some internal structure and saves up to 700 lb (315 kg) of weight. And, the nose cone attachment uses a patented large two piece bearing, which reduces contact pressure on the bearing to less than 1400 psi (9 653 kPa) and extends bearing life. In addition, a panhard bar lateral support provides simple, easy to maintain lateral stabilization for the rear axle.<br />
<br />
Solid Body<br />
The MT 3700AC offers a horizontal bolster design which absorbs more impact energy for reduced body side damage. This unique design also simplifies construction, and saves up to 1,000 lb (454 kg) over conventional vertical bolster designs. A patented floor bolster to dump body floor rail joint also eliminates a high stress area in the body construction and allows increased structural flexibility, thereby improving the fatigue life of the body.<br />
<br />
Clear Vision<br />
The Unit Rig integrated ROPS Cab provides a wrap-around windshield for maximum visibility, and meets the SAE J1040 force and energy requirements. It features an efficient interior with room for two full size seats, back-lit cab instrumentation to reduce eyestrain, and a pressurized and fresh air filtration system to reduce dust contamination and keep drivers comfortable and productive. In addition, a sound abatement package reduces the noise level in the cab to a sound exposure Leg (equivalent sound level) of less than 82 dB(A) when tested per ANSI/SAE J1166 MAY90.<br />
<br />
Smooth Ride<br />
The independent front beam axle provides the MT 3700AC with the smoothest ride in mining. The axle is pin connected to the main frame with four drag links and two suspensions plus a pan hard rod for lateral stability. This arrangement reduces stress loads to the frame by 50%. In addition all steering components are mounted directly to the front axle for simplicity with fewer moving parts. For ease of maintenance all components are easily accessible, and the oversized wheel bearings feature a projected life of 20,000 hours. The independent front beam axle provides true tire tracking regardless of suspension stroke for improved handling, maneuverability, and extended tire life. The king pin in close proximity to the tire center line to reduce tire scrubbing, and absorb steering forces. <br />

When I was speaking last night to its terrific CEO, Tim Sullivan, I was conscious that his company's stock is at the fulcrum of everything that is going wrong and everything that is going right in this market.<br /><br /> Bucyrus, if you recall, makes mining equipment. It's really the only game in town other than <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/joy-global-inc/joyg/nas">Joy Global</a> (NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/joy-global-inc/joyg/nas">JOYG</a>) (<a target="blank" href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&puc=aoljjc&tkr=JOYG">Cramer's Take</a>), as the mining machinery business was annihilated by years of underinvestment. <br /><br />The company became the quintessential play on mining as orders, particularly from China, for new coal mining equipment soared each year. China's opening a new coal-fired energy plant every week, so you know that there's demand.<br /><br /> The hedge funds glommed on to this one big-time. Like in so many that we are familiar with -- <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/mastercard-incorporated/ma/nys">MasterCard</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/mastercard-incorporated/ma/nys">MA</a>) (<a target="blank" href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&puc=aoljjc&tkr=MA">Cramer's Take</a>), <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/trinity-industries-inc/trn/nys">Trinity</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/trinity-industries-inc/trn/nys">TRN</a>) (<a target="blank" href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&puc=aoljjc&tkr=TRN">Cramer's Take</a>), <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/foster-wheeler-ltd/fwlt/nas">Foster Wheeler</a> (NASDAQ: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/foster-wheeler-ltd/fwlt/nas">FWLT</a>) (<a target="blank" href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&puc=aoljjc&tkr=FWLT">Cramer's Take</a>), <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/nyse-euronext-inc/nyx/nys">NYSE Euronext</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/nyse-euronext-inc/nyx/nys">NYX</a>) (<a target="blank" href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&puc=aoljjc&tkr=NYX">Cramer's Take</a>) and <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/freeport-mcmoran-copper-and-gold-inc/fcx/nys">Freeport-McMoRan</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/freeport-mcmoran-copper-and-gold-inc/fcx/nys">FCX</a>) (<a target="blank" href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&puc=aoljjc&tkr=FCX">Cramer's Take</a>) -- they took concentrated positions in this and Joy Global and intended to ride the commodity boom for years.<br /><br />Well, they rode it all right, right from its six-year boom into its incredible bust, and they sold all the way down from the $79 to the low teens, where it stopped going down, mostly because the hedge funds that owned it either sold it all and closed or simply told their investors to take a hike, and that they could not have their money back. (This last is an epidemic that is spreading like wildfire, and it is contributing to the bottoming we are seeing. They are at last out of the way.)<br /><br />But, in some cases, the orders are going away too. Bucyrus has a confirmed non-cancelable order book of more than $2.5 billion, which makes this well-funded, $1.3 billion market-cap company pretty darned cheap. Yet we are now reading about big cancellations of mining orders. Last week it was Freeport's cancellation -- no impact on Bucyrus. Today <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/rio-tinto-plc/rtp/nys">Rio Tinto</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/rio-tinto-plc/rtp/nys">RTP</a>) (<a target="blank" href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&puc=aoljjc&tkr=RTP">Cramer's Take</a>) is in the news eliminating $5 billion in spending. <br /><br />There are also multiple stories about how hard it will be to get letters of credit in the new year. And we know that any mining company start-up is not going to be funded these days, so no new orders coming there. And in an important conference with Al Gore yesterday, Obama made it clear that he takes global warming seriously, that it will be our policy to fight it, and that means new coal plants in this country are going to be few and far between. (Good for natural gas, by the way, where the hedge funds also seem to have completed their selling.)<br /><br />So, Bucyrus has been brought low by redemptions, but the news flow going forward could be worse than expected. One possible mitigation: Bucyrus has been hurt by rising steel costs, its principal expense. While this current quarter won't be helped, if you look out a year, if the orders are still there for equipment, the cost of the equipment is going to be much lower, which is why there's some light here beyond the near-term worries -- not woes, worries.<br /><br />So, what do you do? I think you buy it, for a reason that has nothing to do with any of the current news. I have been watching Asia like a hawk, and the market is telling you that China is coming back and coming back hard. Besides buying the <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/china-fund-inc-the/chn/nys">China Fund</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/china-fund-inc-the/chn/nys">CHN</a>) (<a target="blank" href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&puc=aoljjc&tkr=CHN">Cramer's Take</a>), which is the direct play on China, people are buying Hong Kong and Japan. If you think that China's coming back, you should think they have to build more infrastructure, which means more power plants, which means more coal.<br /><br />There aren't many value buyers left in this country. But if there were, they would be buying BUCY right here and buying back down to where hedge funds took it just three weeks ago.<br /><br />Random musings: You want more outrage, consider that we are bailing out <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/daimler-ag/dai/nys">Daimler</a> (NYSE: <a href="http://finance.aol.com/quotes/daimler-ag/dai/nys">DAI</a>) (<a target="blank" href="http://find.thestreet.com/cgi-bin/texis/cramertake_free?site=tsc&puc=aoljjc&tkr=DAI">Cramer's Take</a>), a rich German company that owns 20% of Chrysler! <br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic;">Jim Cramer is co-founder and chairman of TheStreet.com. He contributes daily market commentary for TheStreet.com's sites and serves as an adviser to the company's CEO. At the time of publication, Cramer was long Trinity, Foster Wheeler and Freeport-McMoRan.<br /><br /></span>Source: <a href="http://www.bloggingstocks.com">http://www.bloggingstocks.com</a><span style="font-style: italic;"><br /></span>Bambang Santosohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05071921235640303786noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817289193906964245.post-25903848951831463432008-12-14T08:22:00.000-08:002008-12-14T08:30:54.952-08:00German mining equipment manufacturers see little affect from financial crisis, so farGermany’s mining equipment manufacturers have hardly been affected by the financial crisis so far. For the coming year, they are predicting that the total turnover will increase by 10% to €3.3 billion. Peter Jochums, Chairman of the VDMA German Mining Equipment Association, noted this at the annual press conference in Zeche Zollverein. The VDMA says: “Recently, some orders have been cancelled, especially by East European customers; however the manufacturers are not affected by massive drops like in other economic sectors.”<br /><br />“Our order books are well-filled at least for the coming year”, underlined Jochums. However, he expects a “temporary decrease” for 2010 as a consequence of the financial crisis, but that is really unpredictable at the moment. Reliable data about how the crisis affects the mining equipment sector are not available, the VDMA says.<br /><br />For the 2008 final figures, the manufacturers expect a decrease of total turnover of 10% to €3 billion. However, Germany still remains the largest and a very important sales market.<br /><br />The turnover abroad will be approximately €2.6 billion this year. This is an indicated decrease of 11% as compared to 2007. Due to high growth rates in past years, this situation could be “handled well” though, said Jochums; especially since the industry expects an increase in foreign sales of 11% to €2.92 billion despite the financial crisis in the coming year. The order books are well-filled.<br /><br />Like last year, the biggest foreign sales market is again Russia in 2008. Final figures could show exports increased by €20 million to €280 million. For 2009, Jochums assumes a decrease of some 10% due to the financial crisis. This is partly because orders have been stretched or cancelled. In order to counteract this development, German manufacturers tried to use Hermes tools or Hermes financing via German banks.<br /><br />In China, the second most important market, German mining equipment manufacturers probably will increase their sales by only €1 million to €210 million for 2008. Despite this, Jochums expects the same turnover for the coming year.<br /><br />This year, exports to the USA will probably have declined from €252 million to about €200 million. Uncertainties due to the financial crisis, declining commodity prices and related smaller investments of large mining companies are the reasons put forward by Jochums. Due to the almost “good mood” the US American and Canadian operating companies are in, the turnover of 2008 is assumed to be maintained for 2009. Jochums anticipates potential future markets in India, Indonesia and the Philippines.<br /><br />Source: <a href="http://www.im-mining.com">http://www.im-mining.com</a>Bambang Santosohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05071921235640303786noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817289193906964245.post-45693007680331668462008-12-14T08:10:00.000-08:002008-12-14T08:14:11.130-08:00German mining equipment companies say they have seen few signs of downturn so far<p><span style="text-transform: uppercase;">LONDON</span> - </p><p>Germany’s mining equipment manufacturers have hardly been affected by the financial crisis so far. In doing so, it has become the engine of choice for several of the world's top equipment manufacturers with over 1,700 engines in use today.<br /><br />MTU has preferred engine supplier relations with Hitachi, LeTourneau and Terex, and just recently signed a new three-year supply agreement with Liebherr to provide engines for its Ultra Class T282B 400-ton haul truck.<br /><br />"MTU's Series 4000 engine is well respected in the mining industry," said Ran Archer, Mining Sales Manager for MTU. "It has everything that an OEM or mining company values: safety, high power density, reliabilty and fuel efficiency."<br /><br />The latest version of the Series 4000 is a fully compliant EPA Tier 2 certified engine and has a revolutionary thermal protection system that is unrivalled in this segment. Using a liquid-cooled exhaust system, the engine surface temperature is maintained below 200 degrees Celsius, safely below the auto-ignition point for combustible fluids such as oil and diesel fuel. This significantly reduces the risk of fire hazard for mining equipment, enhancing operator safety and protecting mine personnel and company equipment assets.<br /><br />The new Series 4000 has greater displacement and higher power ratings, while maintaining high reliability. The 12, 16 and 20 cylinder versions have maximum horsepower ratings of 2,250 bhp, 3,000 bhp and 3,750 bhp (1,680 kW, 2,240 kW and 2,800 kW), respectively. In addition, they have been designed to rigorous standards and depending on the duty cycle, achieve an average life of 20,000 - 40,000 hours before first overhaul, while minimizing the maintenance required between overhauls.<br /><br />The Series 4000 also achieves high fuel economy with MTU's proprietary second generation common rail fuel-injection system and ADEC electronic engine control management. Efficient fuel consumption is achieved while complying with EPA Tier 2 exhaust emissions levels. Depending on application, the Series 4000 is between 5% and 15% more fuel efficient than competitor engine models, resulting in substantial cost savings over the life of the engine.<br /><br />Ease of maintenance and optimal use of parts inventory are key criteria for lowest cost per ton operation of a haulage and loading fleet. MTU Series 4000 is a true engine family, with 12, 16 and 20 cylinder configurations sharing common parts and engine control. This single engine family provides reliable power for a mixed fleet of trucks, excavators or front-end wheel loaders working in unison without the burden of additional stock holding of spares, special tools or additional training of staff.<br /><br />OEM's such as Hitachi recognize the value of the Series 4000 and offer the 16V4000 as the standard engine in its EH5000. Liebherr uses the 16V4000 in its TI-274 and Terex uses all Series 4000 cylinder sizes in its haul trucks, including the 20V4000 which is standard equipment in the Terex MT6300AC 400-ton haul truck. LeTourneau Technologies uses the 12V4000 and 16V4000 in its L-1350, L1850 and L2350 front-end wheel loaders.<br /><br />In addition to the Series 4000, the Series 2000 is a mainstay of MTU's engine portfolio of products serving the mining industry. Used extensively in quarries worldwide, 12 and 16 cylinder Series 2000 engines power 65, 70 and 100 ton Terex and Hitachi trucks with a fuel consumption rate that is the best in the industry. Terex Reedrill and Schramm use the Series 2000 engine as standard equipment in their rotary drills. LeTourneau Technologies also uses the Series 2000 in the D-950 rubber tire dozer, L-950 loader and the new L-1150 loader.<br /><br />MTU's product line for the mining industry also includes its Underground Optimized™ engines, designed specifically to meet the needs of underground mining operations. These engines are MSHA and CANMET certified, are extremely clean-running, and ensure optimal ventilation rates for lowest cost per ton power solutions.<br /><br />"Regardless of the application, MTU has an engine to fit the needs of the mining industry," said Archer. This study is part of mine plan and mine design on open pit coal mining in B area Kabupaten TP Propinsi KS. Mining equipment is a united of digging equipment, loading equipment, and others equipment that is supporting each other. It means that if one of the equipment breaks down it will impact on production target achievement. Having coal reserve is approximately 1,171,113.26 tons of production per year is 292,778.35 tons and stripping ratio is 5. 24, the unit calculation of bulldozer, backhoe and dump truk have not relatively different fluctuation. Recommendation geological analysis, geotechnique hydrology and mining method will influence significantly in mining equipment selection. For overburden handling bulldozer with horse power more than 385 will be used. The type of bulldozer is either Cat D 10 or D 355 A. Additionally for coal handling, bulldozer with horse power of 320 will be used. The type of bulldozer is either Cat D 7 or D 155 A. Dahono Irianto, the opening event in MM The 3rd International Coal Mining Equipment and Services Exhibition Coal India in 2008 says, coal mining business in Indonesia today has developed very rapidly.<br /><br />Currently, Indonesia is the Largest Thermocoal Exporting Country. This is caused by market demand and the world's coal continues to increase from time to time. The rapid growth is rapid and requires the support of the availability of equipment, supplies, and various supporting infrastructure. On the other parties appeared to supply equipment, supplies and various supporting infrastructure from within and outside the country have not been sufficient demand required.<br /><br />The 3rd International Coal Mining Equipment and Services Exhibition was attended by participants, equipment manufacturers and service providers from various countries, namely from Britain, the United States, China, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, and including from within the country to meet these needs.<br /><br />This exhibition is designed and run as a business expo, which brings together the perpetrators of Business Coal, which is among the producers of equipment and supplies, service providers and technology support to the coal mining business both in and outside of the country with the contractor and coal as a user-it .<br /><br />The exhibition is intended to contribute to the development of the coal mining business in Indonesia in order to update equipment and system mining process to improve the efficiency of coal production to Philippines have competitive advantages, especially in price and quality, in the world market.<br /><br />The main objective of this exhibition is to support the development of the national coal mining business. And because the coal business has been expanding employment opportunities, increase national income and national economic activities, the exhibition is not directly contributing to the national economy.<br /><br />Source: <a href="http://www.jiexpo.com/">www.jiexpo.com</a>Bambang Santosohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05071921235640303786noreply@blogger.com0
